Jo Malone Incense and Cedrat Intense 3.4 oz Cologne Spray

I didn't think I would like this scent and had actually written it off as purely masculine until I got Incense & Cedrat as part of my Cologne Intense Collection set. Yes, the first hit is pure smoke but the dry-down is altogether sweeter and softer until the citrus finally cuts through the rich, dark resin and leaves a lingering freshness that I really wasn't expecting. It combines well with Orange Blossom and Lime Basil & Mandarin too. Don't just write this off as one for the men, it can be a lovely addition to any woman's fragrance collection too. It has great staying power on the skin and if intense, smoky, spicy (and even citrus) perfume is your thing, take a closer look at this dark beauty.Recommended.

So interesting. Beautiful smoky scent. I agree with another review which compares it in some way to Amber & Patchouli. It is similar, but not too similar. When i purchased this, it was recommended that for fragrance combining, Orange Blossom would be a great mix. It really is. The Cedrat notes in the cologne work really well with the orange notes in orange blossom. A delightful summer combination.
