Real Nintendo charger

I'll be honest: I didn't have high hopes that this was a genuine Nintendo 3DS charger. It didn't help that it came in a generic box instead of the official box pictured. But the charger has the Nintendo logos on both the base and the insert portion. It fits my 3DS how it should, and it charges appropriately. This was a huge relief. I recently bought a used 3DS, and the generic charger I was sold with it did not charge it at all. My charging port on the 3DS does seem to be damaged, but I am able to get it to recharge using this cord. This charger works. It appears to be official and real. It's not a "new in box" item though, despite the pictures. But the price is pretty reasonable, especially compared to other sellers wanting $40.

It does not come in the retail box unlike what is stated in the description, which makes me question authenticity. The ac adaptor does have the Nintendo trademark logo, however. Works fine but doesn't excuse higher price to comparable ac adapters if fake.
