This horror-thriller tells the story of Claire, a girl who made a bad decision turning her life into a living hell. She drove through the lake road instead of the highway as she usually did; there, she had an encounter with what seemed to be her dead sister's spirit, who gets attached to her and follows her home; however, she soon realizes that what she brought from the road wasn't her sister's spirit, it was something different, something diabolic, something that helped her recover a lost memory from her childhood but that also tried to manipulate her into doing its deed.Just like that, she gets trapped in a nightmare where the only way out is doing something wrong. She learns, that the place is surrounded by terrifying truths that hunt people until their life has no meaning and they are left with despair, betrayal, anger, wonder, sadness and all kinds of overwhelming feelings. She later finds herself at a point where she has to take the wrong decision as it will be the only way for her to escape from the nightmare and the pain that the betrayal of her loved ones caused her. Will she bravely overcome her suffering or will she be able to do what the demon wants, at the risk of losing her own soul?
