NutraSoft OP Gypsum is an OMRI listed organic, granulated gypsum soil amendment for lawns and gardens. Applying NutraSoft OP Gypsum is will loosen hard-packed and heavy clay soils, allowing for deeper root growth and better water penetration and retention. It is also ideal for soils with high sodium as it removes harmful salts that can prevent seed germination and negatively effect plant growth. A high-quality blend of natural deposits containing calcium and sulfur, NutraSoft OP Gypsum can help repair pet spots and counteract winter salt damage. It can be used any time during the growing season on all turf types without any risk of burning. Made with the Andersons patented DG Technology, NutraSoft OP Gypsum is more effective and faster acting than traditional gypsum products. Each pellet of NutraSoft OP Gypsum is created by grinding nutrients into a fine powder before granulating them with a water-soluble binder. This allows the granules to quickly and completely dissolve into the soil after coming into contact with water from rain or irrigation.

This stuff softened my clay soil
I used this gypsum in my front yard and I hadn't fertilized yet. Well, two weeks after the gypsum was laid down my yard looked like it had been fertilized. I'm in North Carolina and I moved from my house with Sandy soil to the new house which has clay soil. So I started adding this after I read up on what to do and it has truly helped. Now if I could just program it to apply itself to the yard by itself that would be super, but until then I'll do it manually. You won't be disappointed if you're trying to loosen up compacted or clay soil. The back yard has new sod but it's doing great. The section close to the concrete in the one photo was treated. It has not been fertilized, just put gypsum down.
