This universal remote CANNOT learn new keys!!!

The seller was fine but the unit is nearly impossible to program to learn IR remote codes. I'm a long-time AV nerd and audiophile that's spent an hour each day for well over a week now and have only been been able to program 3 buttons in total with all that effort!!! At first I thought it couldn't "see" various remotes' frequencies but I am starting to suspect that it's the internal programing/hardware that seems deficient at programing internally and there's no reason to when it will learn or fail. You do have to reset the remote for each set of attempts and it's never learned more than one button in a session or 20-30 attempts. So, either I got a dud unit or this thing is being sold, knowingly flawed, by the manufacturer.
