Because it’s metallic print, parts of the design will catch light and shimmer, giving it a luxe effect.

The Gustav Klimt line is known for referencing elements of Klimt’s art (ornamentation, gilding, geometry) in quilt‑fabric scale prints.

Fabric Properties & Use Notes

This is quilting weight cotton — suitable for quilting, art quilts, decorative home sewing, bags, etc.

Metallic printing can make parts of the fabric slightly stiffer or more delicate than plain cotton.

Care is needed: pressing on the metallic side can damage the metallic surface; use a pressing cloth or press from the back.
Pre‑washing metallic prints should be done with caution; test a corner or small piece to see how the metallic holds up.
