Incredibly surprised and impressed

The quality of this piece of wood is incredible. I bought it cautiously optimistic, and wow was I surprised. It is soooo nice, heavy, thick, strong wood and the grain is beautiful. I do think it actually came a bit finished as there is a sheen on it. So if you want to refinish it you will need to sand a bit to stain it. But this is totally worth it.
