This is not the first time I've bought this blanket. It has a subtle pattern that gives it texture and elevates it beyond looking like just a plain ol' blanket. The soft, light to mid-weight blanket washes beautifully with no pilling or thinning or other issues. I bought a new, longer one in exactly the same pattern and color solely because my curved leather sofa has a new set of backing pillows that expose more of its seat.
