This is a great dashcam with a low price. It has all the features that most people would need for a lower cost than the high priced dashcams with fewer features. I got it after seeing some dashcam videos on YouTube and how the cam would show they were not at fault. I go with the saying that " I would rather have this and not need it than need it and not have it. A lot of people lie about what happened but a camera shows the facts. The only problem I have had is getting it to display my speed. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what.

Better for the Ride Share Driver!

Very satisfied! I used for Uber/Lyft. In the State of Florida, I must provide written notice to passengers/riders that video recording is in progress. I order yellow/black custom bumper stickers from vistaprint and placed on the outside of the passenger windows. The ridesharequy is promoting a cam that costs more than double. This cam is sufficient, though you will want to buy a 128GB micro-sd card as the included 32GB only holds 3 hours before overwriting. The 128GB should hold 12 hours which is the maximum drive time a rideshare driver can be on the road during a single shift. After each night shift, I archive the videos on a VCD/DVD.

The setup wasn't described well in the quick start guide. Even with the online user's manual it wasn't really clear. I had to figure things out myself. Checked You Tube but nothing there from the manufacturer on setup. The camera will sometime auto start when you close the door even though I set the "g" force setting to high position. It'll do the job so it was a good investment.
