This helmet fits my husband's head perfectly. It could easily fit a teenager also since it has a dial on the back of the helmet that you can adjust easily for a tighter fit around your head. This feature makes it easy to get a custom fit. The chin straps are easy to adjust also. It has a plastic buckle that clips both straps together. It is both lightweight and sturdy on my husband's head. He said he doesn't even feel it besides the chin straps, but even those are still comfortable when he's wearing it. There are four padded velcro strips attached inside of the helmet for added comfort on the top, front, and sides of your head. These velcro strips can also be removed. This helmet is well constructed. The outer layer is plastic and the inner layer is foam. It has 16 flow-through vents on the top of the helmet that help cool you down on hot days. The detachable sun visor works great blocking the sun from your eyes. It also looks cool while wearing it. The visor is easy to snap on and off. The color of this helmet makes it easy to match other riding gear. It is easy to wipe out and clean this helmet. The only downside to this helmet is if you have long hair you can't have it in a high or medium ponytail, it has to be low for this to fit comfortably and safe.

Schwinn is known to be a quality brand. I've owned two bicycles in my lifetime and I currently sport a teal Schwinn helmet the matches my bike. My husband was really excited when I surprised him with this Schwinn outlook adult helmet in black. Inside, there is a plastic band that can loosen or tighten the helmet. There are also thin strips of padding that are attached with Velcro so they can also be removed. My 10 year old wanted to try it on so I took pictures for reference. He was able to tighten it down to fit his head. My husband is 6'1 and the helmet adjusted to fit his head perfectly so no matter the head size, it can be adjusted to fit properly. The chin straps are very comfortable and easy to adjust as well. It clips together with a plastic buckle.
