Sometimes you don't need to see the kid when they're napping and you're doing some work anyway. We have a camera that we access with our phones when we need a visual confirmation. But most of the time the kid cries when he's not happy so that's enough of a heads up that we need to check him out. These are loud, and the portability and range of the handsets when we need to do yardwork is handy too.
