Replaced damage gear

The original gear was broke when hitting a large crack in the runway. Considering the small scale and the size of the crack, vectors involved, it is no surprise. A 1/2 or 1/4 scale would have no problem going over a crack like that. Size is relative. The entire runway was recently replaced at our field. This gear has been fine and fit nicely as replacement.

Trailing link nose gear

The F-16 Thunderbird nose gear is Oleo-like in design and performance, with its trailing link in the nose that provides good support and durability upon those harder landings.

Nose gear

I second the first review. The retract unit is expected in October. Hopefully the entire retract assembly will be in stock sometime this month. The pin connecting the retract unit to the strut bent when going off the end of our paved runway into fairly short grass at a moderate speed. Not a quality unit.
