Works as a Rotary Washing Line Holder for me

It’s not for the intended purpose, but I use mine as a rotary washing line holder. Works fine most of the time. When it has been strong winds, it will blow the washing line over if you don’t take the clothes off.

Very nice looking, sturdy, packaging has issues.

This umbrella base is very nice looking and extremely heavy; the umbrella won't go anywhere. However, the unpacking and setting up process was just short of a nightmare. The underside cement base is not sealed or covered in any way, so when it was slid out of the packing bag a snowstorm of cement dust came out with it, covering the base, my patio, and myself. Screwing the feet in was difficult because the cement had filled the holes which then had to be scraped out with a small screwdriver. Even then the feet wouldn't go in all the way, but were able to be screwed in just enough to get the base stable. After cleaning the mess of cement dust off the base and area I noticed there was a slight scrape on the top of the stainless steel, but step up was such a messy process I wasn't about to make an exchange. All in all the base looks very nice and is extremely sturdy. Make sure to open the package outside on a non-windy day.
