Love this lock, needs clearer instructions

I love this lock. The only confusing part for me was how to connect to my Alexa system since I have a zigbee hub built in. I was first directed to use the Yale app which wouldn't work or detect my lock, there were no QR codes or serial codes on my packaging that would register. I then had to figure out on my own to add the device directly to my Alexa app as a generic lock for it to work. I expected a more straight forward system and directions from a lock that should and does work easily with my Alexa smart home hub.

Programming instructions need clarification! Otherwise works well.

I had a difficult time with connecting this lock to my Amazon Echo and Alexa app or with my phone. The directions show how to connect the Zigbee interface to your network. As well, the Alexa app tells you how to connect the lock to Alexa by letting Alexa "discover" the lock in Alexa's discovery mode. However, nothing tells you that the Zigbee interface has to be connected to your network at the same time the Alexa app is in discovery mode. Once the Yale rep talked me through that I was finished in less than 5 minutes! The service rep was great. I'm still having a problem with Alexa saying "there was a problem and I'm not sure if the door is locked" even when the actual mechanical part worked great.
