The price you pay for this pump is a good low price but if everyone they sell, the check valve doesn't work so your tank will run all day long making the motor runI messageD THE seller to see if they could do something about it. They haven't even responded. I suggest buying a pump elsewhere, I consider there's JUNK

FAULTY RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!

Faulty check valve right out of the box. Backflowed the first time I turned it on and had to cycle every 8 seconds to keep pressure. Had to pull 80 feet of down pipe plus pump out of the ground and spend another $50 on my own check valve and adapter fitting. DO NOT depend on the pre-installed valve to work unless you want to pull it out of the ground again!!! Get and install your own check valve before you put this pump down your well! Better yet, just buy a better a pump in the first place, one that works like it's supposed to when it's brand new out of the box!
