Our hot-dip galvanized steel turnbuckles will stand up to the elements, and they meet / exceed all the ASTM F-1145 requirements (formerly Federal Specification FF-T-791). The eye end fitting is the most secure option available - the circular design has no vulnerable points, meaning your wire rope or cable won't slip through. The eye is elongated as well, minimizing component stress. The hook end fitting allows for quick attachment and release. It's designed to connect to a larger hook for better fatigue ratings. The turnbuckle body has marking to indicate the thread direction for each side. Which end fitting is right threaded and which is left threaded may vary. Note: Turnbuckles are only recommended for straight, or in-line pulls.
