It is beautiful and looks like it's going to last a long time. my only warning is that this thing is heavy!!!! It was hard getting the box in the front door. While the instructions were all easy to understand and, in theory, implemented the weight of the different pieces, made it a bit hard to do. I would definitely recommend splurging on the professional assembly or make sure to have some strong help. It did have a little rachet tool, so you could tighten everything pretty easily. This a solid bed that looks like it's going to last decades, so it was well worth the investment.

Fantastic bed!

Looks great, well made, instructions were clear, and even the packaging was great: bed arrived with zero damage. Given that it ships with nice little wood caps to cover up the countersunk screw holes, it is really odd that the two most visible holes (top of the headboard, not hidden by any bedding) do NOT have caps for them, nor are they deep enough to use two of the caps for these holes instead of for two other, less visible holes. One would have to use a spade but to drill these holes deeper and wider for the caps to fit. Strange. It is the only thing I dont love about the bed.
