Federal Brace 32160 Stud Mounted Shelf Rod - 8 x 0.25 x 4 in.

Floating shelf support rods in a stud mount format allow for a thinner profile floating shelf. Federal Brace floating shelf support rods come in two lengths for varying depths of floating shelves. The 0.50" rod arm has an angled mounting plate that is 2"x4" and wraps around stud when installed, for more support. Installation should be every 16" for the length of your shelf. Each rod will have a carrying capacity of 100 pounds. The shelf must not be more than 2" deeper than the end of the rod to avoid seeing deflection.
