Nice lamp
The shade and lamp are good quality and look nice together. It's well built and has some heft to it. The shade bands are just that and adds an accent to the shade, they are the same color as the rest of the shade which is an off-white and looks good. The shade has some of the fabric crosspattern you see in some of todays shades, its visible when the light is on but is not overly dark and creates a nice effect.The color of the lamp is definitely more of a biege then white or off white, you can see that in the photos if you look closely. Perhaps thats part of the antiquing process. I was expecting more of a white but it still looks very good in our room.
