Retekess TR603 Portable Shortwave Radios, Digital Tuning Radio Presets, Support TF, USB, AUX Input, with Wheel Tuning and 5W Speaker, for Desk,Christmas New Year Gift(Sliver)

This was purchased as a replacement for my Retekess 115 which I used for several years. What I like: * The reception is much better than the 115 (I listen to an FM station about 75 miles away) The old radio required frequent adjustments to the antenna and the reception would cut in and out. This radio performed as if the station was a local one. * I use the radio as "white noise" to go to sleep with the volume set to low. The radio is still working when I wake up about seven hours later. * The radio will accept a USB and play MP3s. I'm not sure how this will impact battery life, but it is an excellent feature, I think. Negatives: - The on/off and volume dial are mechanical, so I'm not sure how they will hold up to frequent use. - The battery is smaller than in the 115, but the radio seems to be more efficient. I was favorably impressed, especially by the reception. I think most buyers will be pleased with this radio.
