this furniture is extremely hard. Not just firm, but hard and uncomfortable to sit on. The leg part on the recliner hurts the back of your knees and calves. We tried to contact seller about returning the same day it arrived and were told it takes a couple weeks to become softer. When we asked how we return it if we still don't like it after a couple weeks, we got no reply. I would not recommend!
