    Best rod for the money

    I got the 7 foot heavy, extra fast tip for throwing Texas rigged worms and jigs around heavy cover. With this rod I have the power to control the fish. Especially like the ratchet re-located behind the reel seat. I still think it's the best rod on the market for the money.

    Fished a FLW BFL this weekend, finished 8th with 16lbs 14oz. Caught every one of them on this new crank-bait rod I just purchased. This new rod loads up well, kept the fish from jumping, fish stayed under water all the way to the boat.

    Excellent rod for the money. Collapses from 8'6 to 7'3 so you can put a rod cover on and it fits inside my kayak storage compartment. Throws heavy bait very well. Strong backbone and comfortable handle. Veritas are my personal favorite and this new series doesn't disappoint.
