The top lock brake (TLB) places a positive locking force against the wheel tread locking the wheel only. The side lock brake (SLB) places a positive locking force against the wheel hub locking the wheel only. The total lock brake (TTL) places a positive locking force against the wheel tread and the swivel simultaneously locking the wheel and the swivel for a complete stationary position.
