Setting the benchmark for finesse and performance, the Abu Garcia REVO MGXtreme Spinning Reel employs a number of technologies to reduce weight without sacrificing power, performance, or durability. To eliminate as much unnecessary weight as possible, the reel is equipped with a CMG rotor concept and X-Mag alloy gear box, providing a lighter overall construction and reduced start-up inertia. The Carbon Matrix drag system gives the reel some added muscle to handle bigger, harder-pulling fish. Its Rocket line management system improves distance and accuracy of casts, while the attached sinker keeper reduces tangling when using a drop shot. Its 11 stainless steel HPCR and Salt Shield bearings protect the reel and extend its life, making it extremely versatile and equipped for both freshwater and saltwater use.
