I purchased the Steelie Car Mount Kit this past Thanksgiving. I had been looking for a car mount option for my iPhone 6 for quite some time, going through three or four different ones that either failed in some way or were wildly difficult to mount and/or unmount. I saw the Steelie and thought it would be everything I wanted, but I was worried about the magnetic piece that attaches to your phone case being a bother. But, I took a chance. I have not been so delighted by a product as I have been by the Steelie Car Mount Kit in several years. It is a triumph of design, where form meets function perfectly. I purchased two bases, one for my car and one for my wife's car. The bases and phone piece could not be easier to attach. The product feels firm and well built. The magnetic hold once mounted is firm. The ability to move the phone in any direction and any angle easily is the best of all the devices I've used. The magnet on the phone is almost unnoticeable in my daily use of the phone. I've also found accidental uses for the magnet on my phone. I've been able to stick my phone to the refrigerator in my kitchen when cleaning and cooking, allowing easy, out of the way access to the phone. There have also been a number of applications at my job where being able to stick the phone to a metal surface has come in quite handy. The mount in my car is so subtle and classy looking, it appears as if it is an original part of the car.Bravo to the designers and builders of the Steelie Car Mount! You have solved one of the most aggravating of minor problems in my life. I recommend this product to anyone...you will not be disappointed!
