Love these shorts. I first ordered a medium but they were too big (usually wear a 6-8 in jeans) and exchanged for a small. These drape nicely; my thighs are "thick" and these have just enough width to accommodate them and not look too scrunched at the waist. Washed nicely, no noticeable shrinkage. I wound up buying 2 pairs for the summer.
