Very good

The clip is the right strength to hold the lamp in place against the ceiling, though you have to make sure the j-box is solidly attached and doesn't just push up into the ceiling. I actually added metal tabs to the mounting ring to keep it flush with the ceiling. The instructions don't say which side of the mounting ring goes against the fixture. It's the side with the 2-3mm flanges, pointing down. The safety wire used to clip the fixture to the ceiling during install is a nice touch!

Bright little light that works wonderfully!

We have very little difference in height between our front door and porch ceiling, and it worked great! These are hard to find.. so glad it worked for us. It gives a very bright light, which is always a plus!

Nice LED lights, but poor mounting bracket.

I give the LED 5 stars, we love the bright lights, but I give the mounting bracket a single star. I have no idea how one can mount this unit so it rests flush to the ceiling. I took the old spring brackets off the old fixture and super glued then into the foam and also had to glue the foam to the LED unit. As the light is light weight, this works great. Also it has a cable clip to attach to junction box so even if the glue fails, the unit will not crash to floor.
