RCA RCR413BHE 4-device Big Button Universal Remote With Streaming

After purchasing two new Roku Express units, I found that the Roku Remotes did not come with the TV power button nor the volume buttons. ( I should have checked first) I did not want to purchase the more expensive Roku's just for 2 simple options. I found this remote on Walmart site, I checked online for more info and I of course decided to try it. I'm glad I did. I have a 55" TCL Roku TV, a 42" TCL non Roku TV and a 32" Insignia non-smart TV. I first tested one remote on one of the TV's that I added a Roku Express too and the remote buttons worked instantly with the Roku. I did not have to enter any Roku codes, etc. All the button that the Roku remote has are on this little remote. I was able to program the remotes to both of my TV's and unlike some other universal remotes, I was able to access the TV's menu for TV settings, etc. with ease. I tested this remote on my TCL Roku TV and it works great at well. In the code listing, I believe that I had to use either the 2nd or 3rd code for the TV. Again the purple buttons on the remote work great with the built in Roku. Now, one thing to keep in mind, that when using it with a TCL Roku TV and possibly any other brand of TV with Roku built in, You may need to either press the TV button or the Stream button in order to have it control the Roku part. For using it with the Roku Express, you do have to press the Stream button in order to control the Roku functions. This remote also works great with the Direct TV boxes, DVR box, etc. The only thing I see as a small flow with this remote is that RCA could have added the back light to all of the remote rather than just a dim green light that only lights up under the OK button.
