When Purchasing footed PJS you must be careful each brand sizes the feet, differently... so for my 3 year-old I purchased a 5T and it fits the length of his arms perfectly. Of course his legs are have a lot of room but his feet are comfortably in the right spot! Cozy, thin enough material you could add a onsie or tshirt underneath. Smooth, not rough with no pileing of fabric.
