I have now bought eight of these different scents that should tell you that I LOVE these. The reviewers are correct they are not overpoweringly strong, BUT, they are reminiscent of being in an old tobacco store something which I fondly remember as a kid. they're like a warm tobacco scent. it hangs in the air. This brand is not like any other candle brand I have ever purchased. I am a total candle snob. I will take these hands down over other brands. Every person who walks in my house keeps saying, what is that smell? where is that coming from? it smells really good and they keep going from room to room trying to figure out who has the pipe tobacco..
