Strange spacing on these

I was very disappointed that these lights are oddly spaced--about twice the distance of regular light strands. I think that this should be explained very clearly (I didn't see any mention of it) in the description. Otherwise, the color and quality seemed fine.

Lamps failing

Lamps worked perfectly for one week, then began to fail or glow dimly. Water also started to accumulate inside the glass casing. I will be requesting a refund for the product.
