It's an upgrade for me, and I'm not an audiophile. One issue for me is that the headphones don't work when plugged into the mic, but do work when plugged into the computer. Since I didn't realize this at first I did a guest podcast with sound issues for the host. It's still not posted, so I fear the quality wasn't something that could be overcome, post-recording. Nice entry level system.
