Henri De Rivel Regular Memor-X Close Contact Saddle

I was moving and on a budget, had been out of riding for several years, when I bought this saddle thinking "what the heck, if I hate it, I can just return it and keep looking". I may be biased because all my saddles before this were $300 or less, but I fell in love first ride. Grippy leather, comfortable seat, and most importantly - it fit my body and my horse's body. I was over the moon. Flash forward about 4 years. The horse I bought this for retired suddenly and I was given a younger horse with a higher wither and more narrow back. Everyone kept telling me to get a wool flocked saddle, get rid of this one, etc. But I have NO reason to - with a Christ half pad, this saddle still fits me AND my youngster with no issue. No back problems, no rubbing, no soreness, while my friends have traded, bought and sold saddles consistently for the last few years. Surprisingly, Australian Nut leather matches Oakbark pretty well!

I bought this as a test saddle so I could give it a try and it is amazing! Very comfortable and very nice quality for its price. Will definitely be buying this saddle!
