Powell Elliana Console Table, White

Purchased to use as a little dresser/TV stand in a guest bedroom. The teal drawer front panels look nothing like the picture. They are much darker, closer to a spruce green, so if you are hoping for something that looks like the picture, forget it. For assembly, it states some assembly required. False. Full assembly required. Everything must be put together including the drawers. 12 pages of assembly instructions. It is also supposed to be a bright white finish. Another lie. It's a white finish all right with black smudging on it. It looks dirty. I suppose it is a shabby chic piece but it is not described as such. If you like the fact that it has two drawers, you will be disappointed to find that it is a big fight to get the drawers open. The routed wood drawer glide is so rough that the draw will not slide properly. When I attempted to open the drawer the whole piece slid across the floor with the drawer. I had to push the drawer open from the back since I had not attached the back piece. It's a good thing too! To add insult to injury, customer service told me that the piece had a one-year warranty. Wrong! It has a six month only, against workmanship defects. That's how confident the manufacturer is in the quality of their product, a measly six months! For any damaged or missing pieces initially, you have 30 days to report it. While it is a pretty piece, if you can get past the black smudges that look like dirt, if I had to do it over again I would spend more and get a better piece. Don't waste your money.
