Have mild varicose vein. Doctor recommended compression socks. After extensive web search, found Go2 Compression Socks. The socks are far less expensive than medical compression socks, and fit as well if not better. Picking a size is no problem, just get calf measurement and choose from the table. The socks are very comfortable while sitting in front of PC monitor for hours. Putting them on was easy by watching one of many Youtube videos.

These socks were great. Lots of compression and they stayed up. Plus, the pairs I bought at a medical supply store were $41 each. And, the toes are cotton so they don't gather or pinch your toes. You can adjust the toe after you get the sock on. These are just what I was looking for, plus they come in colors.
