Awareness and Hot Pink Ribbon Meaning

Hot Pink Ribbons are an international symbol of breast cancer awareness and are often worn during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Wondering how to make an awareness ribbon? It's simple!

• Cut a 3" length of ribbon, cutting the ends on an angle
• Lay the ribbon horizontally on a table with the shiny side down
• Place a finger on the center
• Fold the left side down toward the middle
• Hold the loop and end in place with one hand, then fold the right end over the center
• Use a safety pin, glue or a small stitch to secure the ribbon ends where they overlap
