Kohler 4652-96 K- Lustra Elongated Closed-Front Toilet Seat, Biscuit

Great color, easy to install and typical Kohler high quality. Only downside is that it doesn't have the quiet close feature that I expected at this price level.

I bought this seat to replace a 2005 Kohler toilet seat. The part of the lid that serves as a hinge broke; I don't know how. People at Kohler were very helpful with identifying the correct model that matched the original color. The new seat was easy to install once I ground off the head of one of the bolts that held on the old seat. It had rusted badly. The screws for the new seat are the color of stainless steel but are magnetic, so maybe they are regular steel. I hope that the grease I put on them will prevent rusting. A premium toilet seat should have premium mounting hardware. I would recommend this product to a friend who had to match the color of an existing Kohler toilet; I would not recommend a similar seat for a white toilet.
