Great set to start off you're Mario spree!

If you have no idea of what set you're getting, then I should consider this being the one set you'll be getting. This set comes in a lot of variety of creations of your own levels and it is a heck load of fun! All though it's only flaw is that you need batteries for Mario, but it's still quite fun! If you're a parent or like me however. Consider buying it! (Optional)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy kids happy mom actually for me was looking hard to make it The starter course comprises of a few special pieces that are exclusive to this set and includes the start pipe, cloud platform, a question block, a Goomba, Bowser platforms and the goal pole, the star of the show is the interaction figure. There are no building instructions included with the LEGO Adventures with Mario Starter Course, you will have to use the LEGO Mario app, which gives you step by step instructions. really enjoyed doing and is a fun departure for kids and adults i guess i fund it bit difficult for me lol but as long they enjoy that's important, good price and well packed i can say was very carefully packed . Fantastic for Mario fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old son is so impressed by the new Super Mario Starter course as am I! He loves that he could download and app to his iPad to give him instructions for each stage of the build. He did not ask for help at all during the build (which he thoroughly enjoyed) which was great. Mario requires 2AAA batteries as he interacts with some of the bricks similar to the Super Mario console games. He's really great fun and my son absolutely love's how he interacts during play. It's a fantastic set and would make a great gift for any Mario fan dare I say young or old!
