Great traction in the snow

I'm very happy with these tires as they grip the road good in the snow (both loose and hard packed). A few months after putting them on I drove 26 miles in a snowstorm with 3-5" of mostly loose snow and my Pruis did not skid or loose traction. Just this week we had another big snowstorm and the tires again gripped the road and didn't skid while stopping or going through several inches of snow (even with high 30 mph winds). I did get stuck in deep (12 inches) while trying to park back at my place. My gas mileage did drop about 3-5 mpg after I had them mounted but my old tires had very little tread left on them.
