Surprisingly Supportive!

I love these shoes. I followed the reviews and ordered a half size down - I'm usually a women's 8.5 and I ordered the size 8. I have high arches and so usually can't wear Converse for long periods of time, but these surprised the heck out of me. Comfortable and supportive from the get-go. I'm going to order another color!

Post-Topsiders

I am a repeat customer since the decline and fall of Topsiders blue and red boat sneakers in the early 1990s to middle 1990s. They were surfer sneakers in the 1960s and 1970s; Vans were the "knock-offs" and are still selling with the skateboarding crowd,

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas –

The black canvas Chuck Taylor All Star in Men's 9 / Women's 11 remains the ultimate “looks good with everything” shoe in 2025. It's insanely light, instantly iconic, and still costs around sixty bucks—nothing else delivers this much style for the price. They run a bit big (half-size down if you want them snug), have zero real arch support or cushioning (fix: drop in Superfeet or similar insoles on day one), and the toe rubber will separate and the canvas will hole-out within a year of daily wear. They're also not remotely waterproof and your feet will sweat in summer. If you just need a cool, versatile sneaker and don't mind a little DIY comfort upgrade, they're unbeatable. I've owned dozens of pairs over the years and always keep two on deck; when vibe matters more than performance, nothing touches them.
