Eastman Corrugated Stainless Steel Water Heater Connectors, 1" FIP x 1" FIP, 18" Length
This heavy duty stainless steel corrugated connector is designed for easy installation of large capacity water softeners and residential and commercial water heaters to meet the demand of a large water flow rate.
[HIGH QUALITY] The Water-Flex® Water Heater Connector by Eastman® is a high-quality corrugated stainless steel connector. The deep corrugations of the stainless steel provide long-lasting structural support against crushing, kinking and cracking. This 18-inch water heater connector is built to last and withstand corrosion. It has brass nuts with a nickel plated finish. The end connections provide a safe and solid bond that will prevent any disconnects and leaks for many seasons.
[SAFE] This connector is Lead-Free compliant for safe water drinking and UPC approved.
Install tip: Do not use Teflon tape during install. Make sure the surface where the connection is made is flat and free from burrs and uneven surface. If leak occurs during new install, do not over tighten, instead, take plumbing grease to cover all surfaces of rubber gaskets and retighten.

The best
Of all the stainless steel flex connectors, this one has the larger ID for better flow. As well the nut ends are heavy and the seals are firm and not likely to twist into the flow path. The price is competitive for todays prices. One suggestion would be to list all the 1" flex lengths next to each other. only after I ordered did I see there was a 24" long one inch dia. flex.
