These are not OEM direct fitment lights, but will fit many Sportbike OEM fairings with the use of Adapter Plates. These blinker lights offer a great look with a narrow arrowhead shaped clear lens that covers the amber incandescent bulb. The indicators have a Plastic Housing with a rubber, bendable stalk. The rubber stalk design means you can worry less about breaking off your turn signals. The fairing mounting adapter plates are used when converting from OEM blinkers to aftermarket stalk or stem indicators. Adapters are made to fit in the OEM plastics front turn signal opening; no cutting, drilling or modification to the cowl is required. The plates allow you to revert back to stock signals at any time. After testing, we recommend disconnecting the battery before starting signal installation. Installation difficulty will vary depending on your bike application and whether you have to remove the fairing. Locate the existing Turn Signal Wires on your bike, you should have either a 3 or 2 wire system. If you have a 3 Wire System, the wire for the running lights are not used with this installation. 2 Wire System: The other two wires on your bike will be the Turn Signal Power (Positive Wire) and a Ground (Negative Wire). Once you have removed your existing Turn Signal, simply place one Adapter Plate inside the outer fairing mounting site and the other plate on the inside of the fairing. Place your new signal light wires thru the holes on both plates (outer to inner), followed by the mounting stem bolt. Now hand tighten the signal Nut, "sandwiching" the two plates together; clamping down onto the plastic lip of the fairing. Do not over-torque the mounting nut when installing, it should be hand tight and not forcefully clamped down, we recommend using Thread locker on all bolts used in a motorcycle application (Blue/Medium). Now, attach the YELLOW Turn Signal Wire to the Bikes Positive Signal Wire and the BLACK Turn Signal Wire to the Bikes Negative Signal Wire. Test the light and ensure it functions properly prior to putting everything back together. If it's good, repeat the process for the other side. Reassemble, Ride and Enjoy!
