Does NOT replace the CLEAR cartridge holder..

These black ones are not there same as the clear ones. I had a clear A³ battery cartridge. I needed too replace it and thought this was the same. It is not. Would not wo we k, altho there cartridge for in my flashlight. The clear ones have a spring that is needed. These black ones just have a raised metal done, which does not do what the spring does. So, i will recommend this but color matters. Clear holders are not the same as these black ones.
