Summit Tires... good tires at a very fair price

I've had Summit tires on another vehicle and they provided good performance at a very fair price. The expensive tires (you know the brands) are good, but no matter the tire, they all can dry rot. So, why spend $180 on a Continental when I could spend $90 on a Summit?
