TOPSELLER THNKPAD P43S I7-8565U

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this laptop at the end of the summer after senior year in order to replace my older, much slower laptop. While I was researching what to get, this laptop was not yet out on the market, and all the ones with similar specs were either much more expensive, or much bulkier. As it is a laptop meant for college, I preferred for it to be lighter. Then the p43s opened up. It was exactly what I was looking for, with the 14” screen, Nvidia Quadro, high capacity for ram, and surprisingly light weight. The only thing that threw me off at first was that it still looked just as bulky as other thinkpad P series, but that disappeared once I received it. The laptop was a similar, if not lighter, weight than my old laptop that was only an 11.5” screen. The laptop itself opens and closes nicely, with the hinge never needing to be forced open. The camera cover is slick and nice, allowing those who don’t want to be recorded to cover it up without damaging the laptop with tape, sticky notes, or any other form of cover. The laptop itself runs wonderfully. I had no clue that opening files or new tabs in a browser could be so painless. The colors on the screen are beautiful and vibrant, and the high pixel count adds to the experience of the colors. The keyboard is fantastic to type upon as it is designed in just the right way that it makes the satisfying tapping sound, and does not require too much pressure to type. The built in “mouse” with the left click, right click, and center click are unique properties that I haven’t seen elsewhere, and have many uses for someone using a laptop without a mouse. Overall this laptop has been fantastic. I hope it lasts me for a long time with the same quality of speed and performance, but only time will be able to tell that!
