NORPRO clam/oyster knife
I can't open any oyster with this knife. I believe the blade is too wide making it difficult if not impossible to penetrate the oyster hinge. The blade tip is bend and scarred badly after the unsuccessful attempt to open 3 different oysters (Blue Point). The oysters were then opened without problem using the Dexter model S131 oyster knife which has a narrower blade.
