These plates are cheaper the a Lego plate in price, but not cheap in construction. They're strong thicker than the Lego plates. I purchased some Lego plates from Walmart and found them to pale in comparison to the aftermarket plates. $6 for one Lego plate or this brand for $3 a plate. Your kids won't know the difference. So the smart money is on this horse. When it's all said and done it's only a piece of plastic. Also for the MOC builders out there it's great for your top plate on MILS
