We use this product in a heavy duty umbrella stand on a deck near the water where it can often be windy. The sun can be intense. This umbrella gives shade yet handles the wind by letting it pass thourgh the mesh fabric. I only wish it were a little larger.

Let the sun shine!
I was skeptical with the fabric- at first. I wasn't sure it would keep enough sunlight out - but it does. The shape is wonderful - the shade of red is fabulous and it was a cinch to put up. We love our umbrella and the products Hayneedle offers.

Perfect
It was super easy to install, is beautiful, and is also durable. We live close to the beach and get a lot of fog, so mold can be a problem. This dries out quickly and should not represent a mold problem like it might if it were canvas. The fiberglass supports are better than wood or metal in this environment plus they look great.
