CEDAR CONSTRUCTION FOR DURABILITY:Natural Cedar wood outside frames with Pinewood honeycomb foundation frames, our beehive can resist against wear, decay & rot and stand up to years of use even under the toughest environment.
LARGER VOLUME:This equipment measures 16-1/4" x 22" x 29-1/2" is larger than 8-frame wood equipment by approximately 30 percent. When full of honey, our bee hive can generate 20% more honey than that of 8-frame bee hive.
METAL ROOF:Pre-assembled metal roof helps to keep out the elements and maintain the purity as well as freshness of honey.
COMPLETE DESIGN:Designed with a solid bottom board, entrance reducer, and inner cover for your convenience.

Perfect for your first bee hive
The boxes were easy to assemble and instructions clear. The only down side and why I removed a star is that every corner on the metal top leaked! Luckily we checked the box before the bees arrived and were able to caulk the corners. Please check for this before adding bees as the inside of the top will become very wet it yours leaks! I also suggest painting the boxes just to make them last longer than they will unpainted. I have ordered another one because I am happy with the box but hope in the future the company will fix the issues with the top.
