These are 3", not 3 1/4". They have a 1 3/4" opening. Other than that, they were good quality. They snapped together and come back apart easily, then snap back, which is what I wanted for my grand-daughter to use these for hanging fairy gardens from her bedroom ceiling. She's going to love them. These would also be good for birthday parties.

Snap together, not a solid globe.

It would be helpful if the images and initial description show that these snap together. - 1 star for incomplete description. I was wanting the whole smooth globe, not the ones with the line down the middle, for consignment pieces and am having a hard time finding them. Will keep looking, it seems.
